Are you looking for a fellowship grant to help you recruit a foreign student to do doctoral research? The EDUFI Fellowship is intended particularly for starting work on a doctoral research project in Finland. It is open to all Finnish universities and fields of study.

The aim of the EDUFI Fellowship is to help make Finnish research and teaching more international and to build networks between Finnish and foreign universities. We have attracted excellent young researchers to Finland with the fellowship, the majority of whom have also managed to secure further funding for their research.

The EDUFI Fellowship for doctoral students from Ukraine ended as a separate programme. Please note that Ukrainian doctoral researchers who are or have been forced to flee Ukraine due to the Russian invasion in 2022 or later can apply for the EDUFI Fellowship.
