Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Romania, invites students from Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University to join us for the 6th edition of the JASSY Summer School - a Journey through life and hArd sciences, economicS, Social sciences and the tourism industrY – which is to take place between 10 and 21 July 2023.


Students will have the opportunity:

• To acquire credits by signing up for one of the JASSY modules below:
• Life Sciences in the race against emerging threats to human health (LS / 2 places);
• Hard Sciences unveiled: an Interdisciplinary Tour (HS / 1 place);
• Tourism at the Eastern Border of the EU. Interdisciplinary Training for Tour Guides (TTG / 3 places).

To take part in a wide range of field activities such as kayaking, birdwatching, wine tasting, guided tours of the city and the cultural regions surrounding Iasi.

A number of 6 free-of-charge places (available number per modules indicated above) are available for students from CHNU. The 6 nominated students will benefit from free-of-charge participation and on-campus accommodation in shared (double) rooms, as well as breakfast & lunch during the weekdays (from Monday through Friday included), for both weeks, at the university restaurant.
