Dear Colleagues,

Cormack Consultancy Group (CCG), the Lithuanian Research Council, and the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Vilnius invite you to participate in a Sustainability Conference on the 25th of October. The conference will be in hybrid mode.

The aim of this event is to share the UK‘s best sustainability practices and competencies in research, innovation and international mobility in the face of the European Green Deal. During the conference, the experience of leading UK universities in the field of sustainability and green transformation will be presented.

The timing of the conference coincides with the decision for the UK to continue their participation in the Horizon Europe funding programmes, which opens up new opportunities for further international cooperation between the two regions. Partnership opportunities include not only Horizon but also Green Twinning, EU LIFE Fund projects, capacity building and consulting for the public sector, as well as state-funded research and innovation projects. EU funding opportunities in the area of sustainability will be presented separately. 

Attached to this letter is the preliminary conference programme. Ukrainian institutions are welcome to send up to 2-3 representatives to join the event online. The link to join the conference will be sent out to everyone registered a few days before the event.
