Scholarships at the "Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage

On behalf of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, we extend our warmest greetings and have the honor to inform you of the following. 

In 2018, at the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Qingdao, China, H.E. Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, initiated the establishment of "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in the ancient city of Samarkand. The University has become a prominent institution in Uzbekistan, dedicated to educating and developing of qualified professionals in the fields of Tourism and Hospitality, Museum Studies, Archeology and Management. 

To enhance collaboration in the field of education and strengthen diplomatic relations among the member states, observer states, and dialogue partners of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Organization of Turkic States and countries located on the Great Silk Road, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has granted 100 educational scholarships for graduate programs at the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. 

The "Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage is extending an invitation to talented students from Ukraine to apply for two scholarship positions for the 2025-2026 academic year, classes start in October.
