We are happy to announce that Ludwigsburg University of Education still accepts nominations for the winter semester 2025/26 until May 1, 2025.

Please find attached a fact sheet with information on the university, academic calendar, and course catalogue. Please note, that language skills in either German (min. level B1.2) and/or English (min. level B2) are required. Also attached you can find an International Course Package to give you some inspiration, on what courses taught in English you could take at LUE. Further information that is relevant for the students to prepare for their semester abroad (e.g. housing, visa etc.) can be found on a website.

Nomination and Application Deadlines:

Winter Semester 2025/26

(October 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026)

Nomination Deadline: May 1, 2025

Application Deadline: May 15, 2025

 

Summer Semester 2026

(April 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026)

Nomination Deadline: December 1, 2025

Application Deadline: December 15, 2025

All nominations need to be submitted via email to [email protected] with the following information:

• Student’s full name
• Student’s e-mail address
• Exchange semester and duration

Students then will be contacted by the LUE directly and sent with a link to an online application form.

Scholarships:

Students from the overseas partners are eligible for a “Baden-Württemberg Scholarship”. Students from Egypt and South Africa are eligible for a “Baden-Württemberg Scholarship (REK)”.

Please note that an acceptance to study at LUE is not a guarantee to receive a scholarship.

Students can only apply for a scholarship after the nomination and application process when they have received their acceptance letters. They will be contacted by LUE in due time when they can submit their application for a scholarship and will be sent with further instructions.
