International Conference "Hydrogen as a 21st Century Direction"

Dear Students, PhD Researchers, and Professionals, 

As part of National Diplomacy Week 2024, the Forum of Young Diplomats, Scientific Circle of International Relations, and European Law Scientific Circle are delighted to invite you to participate in an essential international dialogue on hydrogen’s role in achieving a sustainable energy future. 

We are excited to host the International Conference on Hydrogen as a 21st Century Direction, where we will explore hydrogen’s transformative potential in global energy security, climate policy, and technological innovation. This event is open to students, PhD researchers, and professionals with an interest in renewable energy, environmental science, policy studies, and related disciplines. 

The conference takes place on Thursday, November 21, 2024 and will begin at 1:00 PM CET, held online via Microsoft Teams, allowing participants from around the world to join virtually. 

Participation is entirely free for both presenters and attendees. To be considered as a presenter, please submit a 200–300 word abstract of your proposed topic by November 14, 2024. Selected abstracts will be notified shortly thereafter. To register for the conference, please complete the online form here.

All active participants will receive a certificate of participation to recognize their contribution to this important dialogue. 

Each presenter will have a 10-minute time slot to deliver their presentation in English. This format is designed to encourage concise and impactful sharing of insights, research, and ideas on hydrogen’s role in achieving a sustainable and secure energy future.

Hydrogen for Energy Security: Understanding hydrogen’s role in energy independence and its impact on both national and global energy security. 
Advancements in Hydrogen Technology: Discussing innovations in hydrogen production, storage, and distribution that make it a viable energy source. 
Climate Policy and Sustainable Development Goals: Evaluating how hydrogen aligns with climate goals and supports commitments to carbon neutrality. 
Economic and Geopolitical Impacts of Hydrogen: Exploring the economic potential and international dynamics of adopting hydrogen energy solutions. 
Cross-sector Applications: Considering hydrogen’s application across industries such as transportation, manufacturing, and residential energy.
