Wood Innovative Path Summer School

The Wood Innovative Path Summer School is conceived as an advanced educational environment where scientific research, design creativity, and technological innovation converge into a single integrated vision. It is a 7-day intensive program, organized by the Drawing TO the Future Lab (DISEG), aimed at guiding students through a multidisciplinary journey. The program explores how green spaces and biophilic design can profoundly enhance human well-being—reducing stress, restoring cognitive clarity, and nurturing emotional balance.

This Summer School is more than just a training experience. Through a combination of expert-led lectures, interactive activities in nature, project pitches, and a final theatrical performance, participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of how to observe, represent, and interpret reality—progressing from physical surveying to digital modeling and ultimately to scenic narration.

The Summer School will take place from July 19th–25th, 2026, in Politecnico di Torino (Italy).
The event will be hosted at the Drawing TO the Future Lab with additional activities held in historic parks and a forest landscape.

The school is open to a maximum of 20 final-year Bachelor’s and Master’s students interested in a laboratory of ideas, where “the beauty that heals,” resilience, and sustainability become the protagonists of a shared narrative capable of inspiring generations of creative professionals of the future.

Participation in the School is free of charge.
Each participant will have to pay for their travel and accommodation expenses.
