The cultural team at the embassy would like to draw your attention to the Call for Proposals for the so-called ÖPR projects, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.

The main purposes of these projects are:

• Strengthening pluralism and resilience, by supporting media diversity and countering foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI);

• Promoting dialogue on values and human rights, through exchange and cultural projects that deepen mutual understanding;

• Creating future prospects and supporting democratic transformation, including EU integration efforts and support for civil society under pressure from repression or war;

• Supporting dialogue and rapprochement, through confidence-building measures aimed at overcoming regional conflicts.

Projects are eligible for funding if implemented in Germany, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova or Russia, involving at least one partner from Germany and one from a target country. The minimum funding amount is 50,000 euro, and proposals can be submitted until 15 September 2026 exclusively via http://oepr.diplo.de.
