A regular meeting of the Academic Council was held in the Red Hall of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University on December 22. The meeting served as an opportunity to summarize the year’s results, celebrate achievements, and demonstrate support for the University community.

The University’s Rector, Ruslan Biloskurskyi, presented Pavlo Krainii with an award in recognition of his productive and responsible work as Head of the Council of Young Scientists over the past two years, his significant personal contribution to the development of the University’s research environment, and his effective organizational activities.

During the meeting, representatives of the Plast organization also handed over the Peace Light of Bethlehem to the University. This symbol of light, hope, and unity is traditionally spread by scouts around the world ahead of Christmas. The flame, lit at the birthplace of Jesus Christ, symbolizes spiritual support and mutual solidarity.

This year’s meeting of the Academic Council once again demonstrated the unity of the academic community of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University around shared values such as support, charity, and solidarity.
