On October 3, a solemn Divine Service was held in the Church of the Three Saints on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. The Divine Service was led by the Superior of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphany of Kyiv and All Ukraine.

On October 3, a celebration of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University’s anniversary was held in the Chernivtsi Philharmonic Hall. The event commenced with a meeting between the university’s rector, Ruslan Biloskurskyi, and the honoured guests. Words were spoken about the rich history of the university. A video presentation followed, featuring artificially recreated historic figures and archival photographs, as well as some scenes from the university’s recent life.
