There are three permanently operating Specialized Academic Councils at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.
Leading doctors of science and university professors who head well-known scientific schools, as well as scientists from other higher education institutions, institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, etc., are involved in the Specialized Academic Councils.
Specialized Academic Councils cover the following fields of knowledge:
- Physical and Mathematical Sciences
- Social and Behavioural Sciences
- Historical Sciences
