ChNU alumni, together with the support of rector Roman Petryshyn, initiated the creation of the NGO "Alumni Association of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University".
A graduate of the Faculty of Biology, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Basics of Health Yuriy Moseychuk was elected the head of the NGO.
The purpose of the organization's activities is to create an interesting and efficient environment for the development of alumni, students and scientists of ChNU, to represent and protect common interests, to coordinate the activities of its members to achieve useful public, cultural, social, and informational goals, to strengthen ties relations of alumni among themselves and with the university.
The mission is to unite university alumni of different years into a single living community.
Objectives:
- for alumni – to create a useful environment for communication between graduates, creation of projects, exchange of experience and proposals, mutual support and mutual assistance, demonstration of achievements, meetings, etc.;
- for students - to gain the opportunity to observe the real implementation of university knowledge for building success in life through various forms of communication with graduates, a mentoring institute, industrial and educational practices, employment, etc.;
- for the university – to ensure connection with graduates through the support of constant communications, participation in the formation of shared memory with graduates, promotion for the emergence of joint scientific/educational/social/research and other projects, working meetings with alumni regarding the clarification of competencies in educational programmes.
Tasks:
- to create platforms for conducting successful internal communications of alumni;
- to create favourable conditions for conducting successful external business communications of ChNU alumni;
- formation on the basis of the Association of Social and Career Boost;
- to form a motivational package for the participation in the Alumni Association;
- to form a clear mechanism for the organizational, administrative, financial and communication work of the Alumni Association.
