A group of graduates from Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, with the support of Rector Roman Petryshyn, initiated the creation of the NGO “Association of Graduates of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.”
The chair of the public organization is A.V. Hakman, a graduate of the Faculty of Education, Doctor of Science in Physical Education and Sports, professor, and head of the Department of Sports and Fitness.
The purpose of the organization is to create an interesting, effective, and useful environment for the development of graduates, students, and scientists of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, to represent and protect common interests, to coordinate the activities of its members to achieve useful public, cultural, social, and informational goals, and to strengthen ties between graduates and with the university.
The mission is to unite university graduates from different years into a single living community.
Objectives:
- for graduates – to create a useful environment for communication between graduates, the creation of projects, the exchange of experience and suggestions, mutual support and assistance, the demonstration of achievements, meetings, etc.;
- for students – to gain the opportunity to see examples of the real-life application of university knowledge for success in life through various forms of communication with graduates, mentoring, industrial and educational internships, employment, etc.;
- for the university – to ensure communication with graduates through maintaining constant communication, participating in the formation of a shared memory with graduates, facilitating opportunities for joint scientific/educational/social/research and other projects, and holding working meetings with graduates to clarify competencies in educational programs.
Tasks:
- create platforms for successful internal communication among graduates;
- create favorable conditions for successful external business communication among CHNU graduates;
- form social and career lifts on the basis of the Association;
- develop a motivational package for alumni participation in the Alumni Association;
- develop a clear mechanism for the organizational, administrative, financial, and communication work of the Alumni Association.
