The highest collegial body of public self-government of the university is the conference of the labour team.
Delegates of the conference are elected at the meetings of the collectives of the structural subdivisions in accordance with the norms of representation determined by the Academic Council of the university. The number of delegates is 10% of the total number of university employees.
All groups of employees of the University should be part of the conference of the labour team. At least 75% of the total number of delegates must be scientific and pedagogical workers.
The labour team conference is convened at least once a year.
University labour team conference:
- on the proposal of the Academic Council of the university, adopts the Statute of CHNU, as well as makes changes to it;
- annually listens to the rector's report and evaluates his activity;
- chooses an applicant for the post of rector by secret ballot and submits his proposals to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
- elects a commission on labour disputes in accordance with the Code of Labour Laws of Ukraine;
- based on a motivated submission of the Supervisory Board or the Academic Council of the university, considers the issue of early termination of the rector's powers;
- approves the internal rules of the university;
- considers and approves or rejects the Collective Agreement of the university;
- approves the Regulations on student self-government bodies;
- elects elected representatives to the Academic Council of the university upon the submission of public self-government bodies of structural units;
- considers other issues of university activity.
The organization of preparation and holding of the conference is carried out by the management of the university and the primary trade union organization as a representative of the labour team. The head and secretary of the conference of the university labour team are elected from among the delegates of the conference.
A labour team conference is considered valid if 2/3 of the total number of delegates attended it. Decisions are adopted if more than half of those present voted for them.

Enrollment trends in 2021. Yes, compared to last year, the negative trend of reducing the number of students is gradually slowing down.
Ratings of Chernivtsi National University in various all-Ukrainian and world rankings of higher education institutions. Thus, the university ranks 6th according to the indicators of the Scopus scientometric database (Hirsch index in the Scopus database – 64; in Web of Science – 59). In the consolidated rating, the university is 15th; among classical institutions of higher education of Ukraine – in 9th place, according to the Top-200 rating of Ukraine – 10th (in 2020 – 20th). For the second time, CHNU entered the Times Higher Education World University Ranking and the 1200+1 rating group among the world's universities. In total, only 10 Ukrainian higher education institutions were included in The World University Ranking 2021. The university's application for the prestigious QS ranking has been accepted. According to the indicators of the effectiveness of institutional research in the natural sciences, the CHNU is in the high 5th place.
The international activity of CHNU was and remains an important component of the functioning of our university. Roman Petryshyn emphasized that as of December 2021, 206 international agreements with the HEI from more than 12 countries of the world are in force. Also, during the past year, 198 teachers and 93 students took part in mobility programs (231 in total). Students studying in 16 educational programs have the opportunity to obtain double degrees.
Personnel potential. As of December 1, 2021, the university has 1,991 employees, including 5 State Prize laureates, 1 corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and 1 corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The structure of the university includes 2 educational and scientific institutes and 10 faculties, which consist of 80 departments, 77 of which are graduate departments.
Doctors of science head 60 departments, which is 75%.
After the rector's speech, those present had the opportunity to voice their questions and comments about the report, make their suggestions and wishes regarding the optimization of the functioning of our HEI.
Also, at the conference, new editions of the "University Collective Agreement for 2022-2025" were approved. and "Rules of internal labor regulations".
According to the results of the discussion, the labour team conference evaluated the report positively.
