The inclusion of the Residence in the UNESCO World Heritage List led to a change in the status of the Residence (monument of national significance – a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and, accordingly, led to the need to make changes to the Visiting Procedure of CHNU (Residence) in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine and, most importantly, the UNESCO requirements regarding the protection and preservation of the UNESCO site

Entrance to the territory of the University – Residence as a UNESCO World Heritage site is allowed:

  • with an employee's licence;
  • by student card;
  • preferential categories defined by the legislation of Ukraine;
  • to the university tour guides in accordance with the "Rules of conduct on the territory of the Residence as a UNESCO site" and the "Procedure for providing paid services for the organization and conduct of group and individual excursions;
  • with the permission of the university management.

Excursion service is carried out in accordance with the schedule of tour guides of the Historical Museum Complex (HMC) of the University.

Persons staying on the territory of the Residence must strictly comply with the requirements specified in the "Rules of conduct on the territory of the Residence".

Tour guides of the Historical and Architectural Museum of CHNU conduct daily tours and introduce visitors to the unique architectural ensemble of the Residence.

During the excursion, there is an opportunity to see the court of honour (cour d'honneur), the Church of Three Saints, where you can hear church singing, the best halls of the Residence – Marble, Blue and Red Halls, and feel the symbiosis of styles and cultures of the peoples of Bukovyna.

Groups are formed both by appointment and directly on the spot.

The duration of the tour is 45 min.

In connection with the state of war in Ukraine, tours are held every hour from 10:00 to 16:00. in groups of no more than 25 people, accompanied by 2 volunteers from the structural units of the university.

During martial law, sight-seeing tours (without a tour guide) are PROHIBITED!

Guided tours:

  • For children and students – 30 UAH per person;
  • Individual excursions (1 to 8 people) – 100 UAH per person;
  • For the organized groups (9 people +) – 80 UAH per person.
