Activity
The Technical Department is a structural unit of the Administrative Economic Part (AEP) of the university, which was created to carry out technical supervision over the performance of repair and construction works at the university facilities, compliance with building norms and rules, the quality of building materials used in the performance of works and control over the technical condition of buildings, structures and engineering networks of the university.
The Technical Department performs the following main functions:
- verifies the volumes of completed repair and construction works, the correct application of norms of labour, material and technical resources in accordance with state construction norms and rules, national standards of Ukraine and other normative documents;
- participates in drawing up annual plans for reconstruction, capital and current repairs of buildings, structures and engineering networks of the university by contracting and economic means;
- prepares materials for concluding contracts with contractors for reconstruction, major and current repairs of buildings, structures and engineering networks of the university;
- keeps records and certification of buildings, structures, engineering networks;
- organizes work in accordance with concluded contracts, prepares inspection reports, defect reports;
- orders design and estimate documentation from design institutes for construction, reconstruction and capital repair of buildings, structures, engineering networks, land acquisition projects;
- specialists of the department participate in the work of the commission on the safe operation of buildings and facilities of ChNU, as well as the commission on putting into operation the built, reconstructed or converted objects.
