ALGORITHM OF ACTIONS IN CASE OF AN AIR RAID ALERT SIGNAL
In extreme cases or in places where sirens cannot be reached, church bells can transmit alarms.
When receiving the air raid alert signal, it is necessary to:
If you hear a siren signal while at home:
- Turn on the TV or radio and carefully listen to the information about the nature of the alarm.
- If possible, warn your neighbours and lonely people living nearby.
- Quickly dress yourself and dress your children, check the presence of patches sewn on the inside of the clothes of preschool children, which indicate: last name, first name, middle name, address, age, parents' phone numbers.
- Close the windows, turn off all electrical and heating devices, shut off the gas, turn off the stoves, turn off the lights (automatic gearbox, circuit breaker, etc.).
- Take an "alarm suitcase" (personal protective equipment, a supply of food and water, personal documents, a flashlight) and go to the nearest protective structure or shelter by the shortest route.
If there is no protective structure within a radius of 500 m from your house, use the basement under the house for shelter.
If you did not hear the signal and you do not have the opportunity to quickly go to the storage room, go to a safer place in the apartment: away from the windows, in the corridor – under the load-bearing wall, or in the bathroom (but cover the mirror with a towel).
If you hear a siren signal while at work:
- Close the windows, turn off all electrical and heating devices, shut off the gas, turn off the lights.
- Quickly, without panic, take a place in a protective structure shelter, basement).
While in a public place, you need to listen to the instructions of the administration of the public place and act in accordance with them (go to the designated shelters).
In no case should you stay in buildings, especially on the upper floors, after the air raid alert signal.
In moments of danger, everyone needs to mobilize themselves, be focused and attentive, and act as quickly as possible.
After the end of the danger, the headquarters gives the command to cancel the air alarm, after which you can leave the shelter and return to your usual activities.
