The "Stozhary" dance ensemble was created in February 2004.

In April 2011 a new page in the history of the collective. The "Stozhary" dance ensemble receives the title of "People's".

In March 2015, the ensemble confirmed the title of "People's".

The "Stozhary" ensemble covers a wide range of choreographic techniques, both folk and the latest modern trends (Modern, Contemporary, Choreography and others). Folk choreography includes dances of peoples of the world, as well as choreography of different regions of the country. Modern choreography covers such directions where a modern student can reveal his/her dancing abilities in a new format, create his/her own dance style.

The "Stozhary" also immersed themselves in historical and domestic choreography, studying gavottes, minuets and aristocratic Viennese waltzes. In addition, ensemble members undergo sports and ballroom choreography (Waltz, Cha-cha-cha, Rumba and others) in practical classes.

In 2022, Ulyana Yulyk became the head of the dance studio, breathing new life into the team with her creativity and determination. Symbolically, the name of the collective has been changed, now it is "Dotyk" (Touch), because the students strive to touch every viewer with their creativity.

The work of the choreographic team of the educational institution is aimed at full-time students of various specialties and courses.

  • improvement of choreographic skills;
  • development of creative thinking and initiative of university students;
  • promoting the general cultural and aesthetic development of team members;
  • involvement in the cultural and social life of the educational institution, the city and the region.

The relevance of the work lies in the combination of theoretical foundations with practical work.

Theory of stage skills, applying make-up, choosing a stage costume combined with a practical part: rehearsals for staging dance numbers, trainings, individual classes.

Taking everything into account the specifics of the event or competition for which the ensemble is preparing.

  • sports dances (Hip-Hop, Jazz Funk);
  • ballroom dancing.

Graduated specialist with considerable creative experience:

  • in 2008, received the qualifications of the head of a choreographic group, a ballet dancer and a teacher of choreographic disciplines;
  • in 2014, graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Work at CHNU;
  • worked as the head of the folk dance ensemble "Bukovyna" CHOTSEV "Yunist Bukovyny", which participated in all-Ukrainian and international competitions and festivals of choreographic art;
  • works at the Chernivtsi Regional Philharmonic named after D. Hnatyuk, ballet dancer of the highest category in the Honoured Academic Bukovyna Song and Dance Ensemble.
