The Labour Protection Service organizes the implementation of preventive measures aimed at eliminating harmful and dangerous factors, preventing accidents, occupational diseases and other threats to the life or health of employees, studies and implements the achievements of science and technology, progressive and safe technologies, modern means of collective and individual protection of workers.

The Labour Protection Service monitors compliance with the requirements of laws and industry regulations on occupational health and safety.

Position: Leading specialist of the Service of Labour Protection and Radiation Safety
Field of activity: organizes training and testing of knowledge on health and safety issues of employees in accordance with the procedure established by law, organizes the participation of each Head of a structural unit within the framework of the operation of the occupational health and safety management system at the university, organizes periodic medical examinations of employees, creates a regulatory, legal, informational and educational base to the extent provided for by current legislation, conducts introductory briefings with employees.
Participates in:

Monitors the implementation of measures provided for in the plans for improving the state of labour safety, providing employees with overalls and protective equipment, and using targeted funds to improve the level of labor protection.

Volodymyr IVANITSKY

Position: Leading specialist of the Service of Labour Protection and Radiation Safety
Field of activity: fire safety.
Carries out internal control over compliance with fire safety norms and rules at the university, participates in the work of the permanent fire-technical commission, conducts introductory briefings, training and testing knowledge of fire safety, organizes the provision of university units with fire-fighting equipment, special signs, literature in accordance with the norms, develops fire safety instructions and controls the familiarization of students and employees with them, controls the use of targeted funds to increase the level of fire safety.
