The information policy of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University is aimed at meeting the challenges of the times, forming a positive image of the University, supporting and improving its brand by creating high-quality e-services, convenient interfaces and ensuring the maximum presence of the University in the Ukrainian information space and at the world level.

These and a number of other tasks are carried out by the Department of Communications and Branding

  1. Increasing public awareness of the educational and scientific activities of ChNU.
  2. Spreading in society as much positive information as possible about the work and activities of ChNU in order to form a positive image of the institution.
  3. Establishing the process of informing employees and students about the achievements and problems of the university.
  4. Ensuring maximum recognition of the university within the region and the country in general.
  5. Tracking and combating the spread of negative information about ChNU.
  6. Prompt placement of objective information on the official website of the university.
  7. Provision of comprehensive information in accordance with received requests.
  1. Communication with all structural divisions of the university.
  2. Writing, editing and coordinating texts and media materials based on the results of the events, news in life of the university community, their preparation for publication on the official university website and in social networks.
  3. Direct operational coverage on the university's website of information about the life of the university and its structural divisions.
  4. Arrangement of the information materials (regulations, orders, reports, documents from special councils, conclusions of accreditation commissions, etc.) on the website from various divisions of the university.
  5. Development and distribution of press releases for planned events, cooperation, communication with local, regional and national mass media.
  6. Monitoring of the above media as well as other popular websites that may contain information about the university.
  7. Current business correspondence and replies to e-mails. UA semicolon
  8. Cooperation with marketing agencies and other firms that provide advertising services for the HEI. Conducting advertising campaigns of the university.
  9. Posting information about the life and activities of the university on radio, television, and in newspapers of the city, region, and country.
  10. Establishing information links with state and local self-government bodies, enterprises, organizations, institutions, public associations, business structures, etc.
  11. Preparation and holding of press conferences, briefings, interviews, comments, etc., with the participation of managers, employees and students of the university.
  12. Creation of a video and photo archive of the university.
