From August 26-30, 2024, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, along with several other partners, took part in a Sustainability Training event hosted at the University of Foggia (Italy) as part of the INTERADIS project (International Students Adaptation and Integration, 619451-EPP-1-2020-1-NL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP). The university representatives were Serhii LUKANIUK, Head of International Office; Anastasiia OMELCHENKO, English Programs Coordinator; Khrystyna KRYLIUK, Romanian Programs Coordinator; Roman PAZIUK, Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism, and Iryna TSYMBALIUK, Acting Chief Accountant.
The event was attended by multiple institutions, including the Ukrainian State Center for International Education, KROK University, Odesa National Polytechnical University, Mariupol State University, Sumy National Agrarian University, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Ivan Franko National University, National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, Netherlands Business Academy (Netherlands), Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden (Germany), Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), and Hultgren Nachhaltigkeitsberatung UG (Germany).
This training plays a crucial role in international projects by ensuring regulatory compliance, improving resource efficiency, managing risks, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
The primary objective of the event was to develop and discuss a collaborative sustainable development strategy, along with individualized strategies for each Ukrainian partner involved. Throughout the week, various workshops focused on creating sustainability strategies, working in teams to share experiences, discussing partner recommendations for project implementation, and exploring new cooperation opportunities.
