On July 12, Rector Ruslan Biloskurskyi held a press briefing with representatives of the city's mass media in the Blue Hall of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. The main purpose of the meeting was to inform society about the activities of the university and outline specific tasks and goals that are planned to be implemented in the future.

In his speech, the rector spoke in detail about the main indicators of the institution of higher education, the state of the university's power supply during the power outage, outlined the main directions of the university's future development, announced the change of the management team and the election of new deans and directors, which should take place in autumn. 

The journalistic community was interested in the financial support of the university in the conditions of martial law, the state of student dormitories, the personnel potential of the university, the appointment of vice-rectors and the requirements for representatives of the academic community who will hold these positions, the expansion of international activities and the attraction of foreign students by introducing the teaching of disciplines in a foreign language, the state of sports infrastructure of the university and others.

The briefing lasted more than an hour, during which Rector Ruslan Biloskurskyi provided comprehensive answers to the questions of media representatives.

Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University has always been and remains open to journalists and the public. We hope that such briefings will become traditional for the university and journalistic communities.
