From May 20 to 26, Baku (Azerbaijan) hosted the European Championship in three types of wrestling among athletes under 23. The honour of Bukovyna as part of the national team of Ukraine was defended by students of the Chernivtsi National University, Faculty of Physical Culture and Human Health, majoring in "Physical Culture and Sports":

• Mariia Vinnyk (4th year student) – 2nd place;
• Solomiia Vinnyk (4th year student) – 3rd place.
