The staff of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University sincerely congratulates Andrii Zaplitnyi, a university graduate, for being awarded the high state honour – the Order of Merit of the Third Class.

Andrii is a Master of Sports of International Class in karate, European champion, and bronze medalist of the World Championship. He made the history in Bukovyna's sport as the first one who won a gold medal at the European Games.

His achievements on the European and world arenas are a true pride of Bukovyna and Ukraine. Andrii once again has become an example of dedication, unwavering spirit, and sportsmanship, achieving victories which inspire not only young spotsmen but our entire community.

May his successes continue to bring glory to our region and may this award be another step on the path to new heights. We believe that Andrii has many more bright victories and achievements ahead!
