Activity

The Logistics Department (LD) is a structural unit of the university, that reports to the vice-rector for administrative and economic work. 

The main tasks and functions of the Department are:

• preparation of proposals for drafting the needs of institutes, faculties and other units of the University in carrying out purchases in accordance with their orders;
• preparation of contracts with suppliers for the supply of goods, for the needs of the university, in accordance with the annual estimate and procurement plan;
• definition of the subject of procurement according to the Common Procurement Vocabulary DK 021:2015;
• ensuring the delivery of material resources in accordance with the terms stipulated in the contracts, control of their quantity and quality;
• implementation of control over the correct execution of acts of completed works, invoices for the purchase of material assets, according to their compliance with contracts and established prices;
• warehouse management in accordance with the current rules of storage and accounting of material values;
• issuance of material values from the Logistics Department;
• organization of warehouse operations, measures to improve its technical equipment, ensuring the storage of material resources coming to the university;
• development and implementation of measures to increase the efficiency of the use of material resources, reduce costs associated with their transportation and storage.
