Activity
The Chief Power Engineer's Service is a structural unit of the Administrative Economic Part (AEP) of the university, which carries out the functions of operating the electricity management of educational buildings, dormitories and other objects of ChNU.
The Chief Power Engineer's Service carries out its activities in accordance with the "Rules for the safe operation of electrical installations of consumers" (RSOEIC), "Rules for the installation of electrical installations" (RIEI), rules and instructions of the State Energy Inspectorate, the State Inspectorate for Labor Protection, the Fire Inspectorate, orders of the AEP, university orders and Regulations on Chief Power Engineer's Service.
According to the above, the Chief Power Engineer's Service:
- ensures high-quality and continuous supply of electricity to all facilities of ChNU, namely: educational buildings, departments, services, other units, as well as dormitories for students and employees;
- maintains the existing electrical equipment, carries out its reconstruction and development of new electrical networks with the implementation of minor design works when planning construction and installation works or re-planning of premises;
- carries out accounting, analysis and control of economical use of electricity.
