Activity
The Chief Mechanic's Service is a structural unit of the Chief Engineer's Service of the university's AEP, which performs the functions of providing heat supply, gas supply to the university's subdepartmental facilities, elevators, and repair of educational equipment.
The Chief Mechanic's Service carries out its activities on the basis of legislative acts of Ukraine, normative, organizational and directive documents, "Regulations on the organization of work on occupational safety in the system of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine", "Safety rules of gas supply systems of Ukraine", "Occupational safety rules during operation of pressure equipment", "Rules for construction and safe operation of elevators", "Rules for technical operation of thermal installations and networks", "Rules for construction and safe operation of elevators" and "Regulations on the Chief Mechanic's Service".
In accordance with the above, the Chief Mechanic's Service:
- ensures reliable, accident-free and technically competent operation of systems and communications of heat supply, gas supply, car lift and elevators of subordinate university facilities;
- carries out maintenance and repair, technical re-equipment, equipment of boiler rooms, heat and gas supply systems and elevators of university facilities;
- conducts accounting, analysis and control of economical use of energy carriers.
The structure of the Chief Mechanic's Service:
- gas service;
- central heating service;
- repair and production workshops;
- elevator business.
