An official delegation of Zaporizhzhia National University headed by Galyna Shylo, rector, Dmytro Yarymbash, vice-rector for scientific work, and Borys Shestopalov, head of the Supervisory Board, paid a working visit to Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.

A meeting with Ruslan Biloskurskyi, CHNU’s rector, started the visit. Tetiana Fedirchyk, vice-rector for scientific-pedagogical work and educational activities, Yurii Khalavka, vice-rector for scientific work, Iryna Osovska, vice-rector for scientific-pedagogical work, international and humanitarian activities, and Andrii Verstiak, vice-rector for scientific-pedagogical work and digital transformation, were also present at the meeting. The sides shared experiences, discussed key challenges in education, and outlined the prospects for further cooperation between the universities.

After that, a visit got paid to the Institute of Physical, Technical and Computer Sciences. The Institute’s material and technical base, the capabilities of «Cyberpolygon», an educational and scientific center, and a laboratory of technical means of protecting information were presented to the guests. A constructive dialogue regarding developing partnership took place during the excursion and further talks. Prospects for further cooperation both in education and joint scientific research activities, which is especially relevant in current conditions, were discussed.

The delegation also paid a working visit to the representatives of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Work. The sides exchanged experiences of structuring the educational process, discussed modern challenges in training specialists, and outlined perspectives for further cooperation. The meeting’s participants expressed their interest in developing partnership initiatives and implementing joint educational and scientific projects.

Another stage of the visit was a meeting with the Faculty of Architecture, Construction, Decorative and Applied Arts. The guests were shown the material and technical base and the educational environment. They also met the teachers and students of the Faculty. The delegation was shown a vestibule with presentation zones of the four Departments, training labs, and specialized audiences for architectural graphics and design, sculpture, model building, figures, and evaluation of building materials.

The visit of the delegation of Zaporizhzhia National University is an important step towards strengthening the connections between the Universities and opening up new possibilities for implementing joint educational and scientific projects.
