The university hosted the "School of Ambassadors 2026"

On 3 April, the "School of Ambassadors 2026" took place at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.

The main aim of the initiative is to train student ambassadors who can explain to school pupils, in an accessible and engaging way, what studying is like, the opportunities available, and the atmosphere at one of Ukraine’s most prestigious higher education institutions – our university. Over 110 participants joined the event!

The "School of Ambassadors 2026" was officially opened by rector Ruslan Biloskurskyi, who welcomed the participants and emphasised the importance of such initiatives for the development of the university community and the creation of a positive image for the institution.

Vitalii Kindzerskyi, Head of the Communications and Branding Department and Chair of the Trade Union Organisation of Lecturers and Staff, also delivered an opening address. He emphasised the importance of team cohesion and the responsibility of each project participant.

Viktoria Horobets, a specialist in the Communications and Branding Department and coordinator of the ChNU ambassadors, emphasised the importance of communication between students and prospective applicants, highlighting the role of ambassadors as the face of the university.

Maksym Marych, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, shared details of the 2026 admissions campaign and the opportunities for admission to our university, as well as how to effectively convey this information to school pupils.

The event featured an informative presentation, which served as the basis for the speeches and practical training of the future ambassadors. It provided a detailed overview of the university’s structure, educational opportunities, student life, international programmes and key aspects of the admissions campaign.

Vitalii Kindzerskyi and Viktoriia Horobets paid particular attention to the communication aspect. They held a discussion with the ambassadors, during which they outlined key approaches to presenting Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University to school pupils. Participants received practical advices on communication, the structure of presentations, and working with an audience, as well as answers to organisational questions that arise during the implementation of the project.

Thus, the "School of Ambassadors 2026" combined both an informational component on the admissions campaign and a comprehensive training module aimed at developing skills for effectively presenting the university.

The event marked an important step in preparing the team of ambassadors, who will soon be able to share their own experiences, inspire school pupils and open up new opportunities for them together with ChNU!
