The Part of the 1st "Health" Sports Games -  Volleyball Competitions were Held Among University Teachers, Staff, and Graduate Students.

On the 9th of December, the 1st Stage (volleyball) of the 1st Spartakiad "Health" of the Trade Committee Organization of Teachers and Employees of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University among teachers, employees and postgraduates was held at the Olympia Sports Complex. This stage is dedicated to the memory of the first dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation - Valery Chabanenko.

The tournament brought together teams from various trade unions of faculties, educational and scientific institutes and university departments, demonstrating that sports are an effective way to strengthen corporate culture and team interaction.

Ruslan Biloskurskiy — the rector of the university, Petro Ratsa — the first master of sports in volleyball in Bukovina, a national category referee, a participant in the World Volleyball Championship and a long-time physical education teacher at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, Vitaliy Kindzersky — the head of the university's trade committee organization, as well as members of Valeriy Chabanenko's family, who congratulated the participants on the start of the competition, emphasizing the importance of developing sports traditions at the university and wishing the teams fair competition, sports excitement and bright emotions, addressed the participants with an introductory speech. The participants were wished good health, team unity and good mood regardless of the results.

Professional refereeing and the conduct of the competition were provided by the judging panel (Vaskan I.G., Moldovan A.D., Rotar T.Yu., Prekurat O.T., Ratsa P.G.).

The winning team received an honorary cup, diploma and medals from the Trade Union Committee of the university. The teams that took second and third places were awarded with certificates and medals for their respective places. The participants who took fourth and fifth places received certificates of appreciation and sweet gifts.

Such events are not only about sports, but also about strengthening corporate culture, team interaction and a healthy microclimate in teams. They demonstrate that an active lifestyle and sports traditions are an integral part of university life.
