On October 31 and November 1, a nationwide Ukrainian event, “The Dialogue of Student Councils,” was hosted by Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. The meeting gathered active, creative, and passionate mathematics students from the following five Ukrainian universities: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University, Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University, and Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.

The event was held in the Blue Hall of the university. It commenced with a speech by the Vice-Rector for Research Yuriy Khalavka, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics Olha Martynyuk, and Acting Head of the Student Parliament of our University Anna Druchuk. They highlighted the importance of joint student initiatives, experience exchange, and shared determination to preserve and promote mathematics as the basis for science and technology.

The first day of the event was full of new acquaintances, presentations, and discoveries:

• the teams presented their universities and the activities of student governments;
• the participants went on guided tours of CHNU and the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, discovering the beauty, history, and atmosphere of the university.
