A year-long charity blood donation campaign dedicated to 150th anniversary of the university's founding has concluded at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsy National University.
Donor days were held twice - in the spring and in the autumn. In total, 197.4 liters of blood were collected, which exceeded the ambitious goal of 150 liters.
The donated blood was directed to the needs of the wounded Ukraine defenders, who heroically defend our state, as well as to help the victims of the the aggressor's terrorist acts. Today, more then ever, it is important to show the unity and support for those who need it the most.
Thank you to everyone who showed care, unity, and humanity!

- Educational and Scientific Institute of Biology, Chemistry and Bioresources – 19 donors;
- Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical, Technical and Computer Sciences – 33 donors;
- Faculty of Architecture, Construction and Decorative and Applied Arts – 39 donors;
- Faculty of Geography – 30 donors;
- Faculty of Economics – 80 donors;
- Faculty of Foreign Languages – 61 donors;
- Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations – 19 donors;
- Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics – 6 donors;
- Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Work – 13 donors;
- Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation – 64 donors;
- Faculty of Philology – 5 donors;
- Faculty of Law – 23 donors;
- Administrative and Management Staff, Administrative and Economic Department and Scientific Library – 15 donors.
The university community has once again proven: true strength lies in good deeds and joint actions.
Remember, even a drop of a blood can save one's life.
