On July 1, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University hosted a meeting with Serhiy Kulikov — designer and creator of the visual identity for the university’s 150th anniversary. Serhii, an alumnus of the Faculty of Architecture, Construction, and Decorative Arts, shared insights into the creative process, challenges faced, and sources of inspiration while working on the project.

During the discussion with Rector Ruslan Biloskurskyi, Vice-Rector Iryna Osovska, and Head of the Communications and Branding Department Vitaliy Kindzerskyi, Serhii emphasized the importance of effective communication with the university team to develop an identity that truly reflects its values and spirit.

The new design is based on the university’s familiar logo, featuring a stylized image of the main building façade that also forms the “ЧНУ” abbreviation. This recognizable element became the foundation for a modern, cohesive style that blends the university’s historical depth with its openness to the future.

The meeting also explored opportunities for further cooperation. The university sincerely thanks Serhiy Kulikov for his creative vision and contribution to shaping the Alma mater’s visual identity.
