Information about the 2026 Annual Student Research Conference

In order to support and develop students' scientific and creative activities, as well as to encourage them to conduct independent research and pursue academic self-development, a student scientific conference will be held at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University in May this year.

The conference will be organized and conducted by educational and scientific institutes and faculties. By April 10, directors of institutes and deans of faculties must submit abstracts, content, and the conference program to the research department (building 5, room 102), as well as to the email address nd-office@chnu.edu.ua.

The sectional meetings of the student scientific conference will take place on May 11–12. During the sectional meetings, the competition committees will select the best student reports.

Based on the results of the selection, the competition committees will recommend the following for participation in the final meeting of the conference:

  • one report from each faculty;
  • two reports from each educational and scientific institute.

The competition for the best student report to be presented at the final session will be held on May 11–12, and the final session of the student scientific conference and the awarding of winners will take place on May 14.

Reports from the heads of the competition commissions with information about the winners (surname, first name, patronymic; department; course; title of the report) must be submitted to the vice-rector for scientific work by 18:00 on May 13.

Electronic information about the winners, along with presentations and contact email addresses, should be sent to nd-office@chnu.edu.ua also by 6:00 p.m. on May 13.
