On October 23, the second “Race of the Brave” of this year was held. “Race of the Brave” is a charity event organized by the Faculty of Economics of Chernivtsi National University. It brought students, professors, alumni, and friends of the faculty together for a common goal – to support the defenders of Ukraine.

Over 400 participants ran the three symbolic laps of unity, faith, and gratitude to the soldiers. Every step and donation was a small contribution to a great cause – supporting those who defend Ukraine every day. 

Thanks to the collective effort of the participants and organizers, we managed to raise:

• 55 000 UAH – for the “Saint Barbara” Missile Brigade, where an alumnus of the Department of Marketing, Innovations and Regional Development, Vlad Halaychuk, serves.

• Nearly 20,000 UAH – for Maksym Skrashchuk, who serves with the 157th Brigade in the Donetsk sector.

“Race of the Brave” isn’t simply about sports. It’s a striking example of the unity of the university community, where anybody, no matter their status, can contribute to Victory.

We would like to express sincere gratitude to the professors and students of the Department of Marketing, Innovations and Regional Development of the university’s Faculty of Economics for organizing and hosting this event!
