On August 29th children of faculty and employee of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, parents of whom are currently defending Ukraine, were received with new backpacks and necessary stationery.

The assistance was provided by Johanniter Mission Siret organization, which has been supporting tirelessly Ukrainians for 3 years already. The NGO “Ukranian-German Cultural Society of Chernivtsi” and Gedankedach, which actively work to support internally displaced persons and families of military, also participated in implementation of initiatives. The presents gifting took place thanks to the participation of faculty and employee trade union of Chernivtsi National University in organization matters. 

The university expresses its sincere gratitude to the defenders for their courage and strength, to their families for the patience and faith, to the partners for their care, support and true friendship. The donated backpacks have become symbols of care and reminder about people adjacently who are always ready to help.
