On June 13, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine signed a cooperation agreement during a meeting in the rector’s office. The document was signed by Rector Ruslan Biloskurskyi and Acting Head of the Constitutional Court Oleksandr Petryshyn.

Also present were Viktor Beschastnyi, Head of the Court’s Secretariat; Vitalii Vdovichen, Dean of the Faculty of Law; and Oksana Shcherbaniuk, Head of the Department of Procedural Law.

The agreement provides for joint scientific and practical events, university experts’ involvement in drafting legislative proposals, and the creation of expert groups to study pressing legal issues. It also foresees mutual advisory support, professional development opportunities for academic staff, and a special focus on advancing constitutional law research and public legal awareness.

This partnership strengthens ties between academia and state institutions in their shared commitment to upholding the rule of law in Ukraine.
