Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of French Philology and Translation at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, Valentyna Moysiuk, received one of the most prestigious state awards of France - the title of Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Palmes académiques.

The Order of Academic Palms was established in 1808. It is one of the French Republic's oldest civil decorations, honoring significant contributions to the development of education, science, and culture. During the award ceremony, the distinction was presented to Valentyna Moisiuk by Sébastien Surun, Minister-Counsellor at the Embassy of France in Ukraine. He thanked the professor for her years of dedicated work, her efforts to foster Ukrainian-French academic cooperation, and her role in promoting the French language and culture.
