Objectives:
Realization of an European network for additive manufacturing in the field of Industrial Design, in the problematic context of Ukraine, the consortium project consists of 4 organizations, which also includes a university from Ukraine,
The AMAZE project provides the chance for the students and professors in mixing the studying / teaching experience and traineeship mobilities periods abroad, with the main aim of further enhancing the learning outcomes and development of transversal skills.

Specific project objectives:

  1. Development and creation of educational materials for students and practitioners in the field of industrial design using modern methods, techniques, and information technologies to obtain competitive products.
  2. Development of cooperation between scientists, engineers, students of the project partners for the exchange of experience, knowledge, technologies, as well as for the development and implementation of new design and development methods.
  3. The Quadruple Helix Model of innovation recognizes four main participants in the innovation system: science, politics, industry and society. According to this model, the AMAZE project prioritises greater public participation in innovation processes.
  4. The necessity of effective reconstruction of Ukraine, which requires rapid development of technologies, provision of appropriate industrial resources and reliable application of them, training and attracting students.
  5. Implementation of better educational processes in universities, including creating new curriculums (study programs) for students that are adapted to the modern industrial requirements and based on advanced materials, new technological solutions, information and computing technologies, as well as new teaching methods of each student or student group.

Expected results:

  1. AMAZE e-book for developing of complex design industrial parts;
  2. AMAZE e-toolkit manual for digital learning in producing of complex design industrial parts;
  3. AMAZE e-learning VR/AR platform;
  4. AMAZE e-case studies;
  5. 1 open access book;
  6. 1 open access toolkit manual;
  7. 2 academic papers (in journals with high visibility, open-access) and 2 papers in International Conference open-access and 1 patent submitting application.
