We are pleased to inform you that 10 discount places will be available for CHNU students for the 7th edition of the JASSY Summer School, which will take place between 8 and 19 July 2024.

For this edition, the students who are going to be selected for the discount places will have to pay a small participation fee, of 50 EUR. The main reason to introduce this fee was to avoid the last-minute cancellations or withdrawals. The students will benefit from registration&participation in one JASSY module, on-campus accommodation for 2 weeks in a shared (double) room, breakfast and lunch during the days of activity, as well as a welcome reception.

The 10 places are for the modules of: Life Sciences (2 places), Hard Sciences (1 place), Tourism (5 places), Eastern European Perspectives on Culture, History and Integration (1 place), Finance and Risk Management (1 place). Who can apply? Post-graduate students, 3, and 5-year students (ONLY female students).

• Letter of motivation 
• Certificate of knowledge of English language – level B2 (can be any diploma attesting medium knowledge of a foreign language or certificates issued by the foreign language departments of each faculty; not for students studying the respective language as an integral part of their specialization)*

*in case you don't possess any of the language certificates you may pass the ELT (English Level Test) at the CHNU International Office by the link.

Students who apply for these places must have a good knowledge of English (minimum level B2) and must not have participated in one of the previous JASSY editions. The students selected for the Tourism module will be invited for a brief online interview with Dr. Mihai Bulai, the module coordinator.
